Giving Back to Our Community
Thank You Letter from Food for the Hungry - Serving South-Central Tehama County

December 2011
To the members of the North State Barrel Racing Association,
Just a short note to tell you how much our food program, Food for the Hungry, appreciates your canned food donations from your activity on Thanksgiving weekend. Your association's donated item came to 207 and has restocked our shelves!
During the month of November we served fifty families. This is a definite increase for our program over the last year.
Food for the Hungry is a community outreach ministry of the Los Molinos and Cone United Methodist churches. The churches administer the program and the Los Molinos community, businesses, schools, and services groups support it in many ways. One hundred percent of all donations go directly to the families as all work and travel is volunteered or donated. We serve families year round with a special emphasis on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If you would like to know more about our programs, I would be happy to answer any questions. Please feel free to call.
Once again, thank you so much for your donations. It has helped greatly.
