Thanksgiving Race- MAYFLOWER MADNESS

NSBRA is producing a Thanksgiving race, November 29th and 30th at the Pauline Davis Pavilion in Red Bluff, CA. This will be our first annual holiday race and hopefully with many more to follow. NSBRA was fortunate to obtain the Pavilion for this weekend due to cancellation of a major team roping. So, now, NSBRA has this weekend on our calendar for the future. The race will be held in 4-D format, with $1,500.00 added each day. Entries for the OPEN race are $60.00. We are co-sanctioning with ACBRA, PacWest and BRN4D. Awards will be available for Average D winners. Stalls and RV parking are available. Non-members are encouraged to attend, and hopefully join our fast growing association. Last year we had over 230 rider/horse memberships and just a few weeks into our new year, we have over 100 members rejoining. Membership forms will be available at the race. Come join NSBRA and celebrate Mayflower Madness on a fantastic barrel racing Thanksgiving weekend.

12th Annual Holiday Blowout Dec. 7th

NBHA District 8 Hosts the 12th ANNUAL HOLIDAY BLOWOUT in Brentwood, CA. NSBRA, PacWest and BRN4D are co-sanctioning with NBHA. The place, Rafter D Ranch, 8400 Byron Hwy, Brentwood. ***RAIN OR SHINE*** $1,000 added to the OPEN, $250. added to the Youth and $50 to the Seniors, Awards to 5th in the OPEN, 3rd in the Youth, 1st in the Senior. Entry fees for the OPEN $65, fees for Youth and Senior $45. No non-member fees. PeeWee race (7 and under) Parade for the Best Dressed Holiday Theme Horse and Rider. Raffle for $1,000 cash is being held, need not be present to win. Mark this date on your calendar, this is a great race, so don't miss it!!!


FYI ** Red Bluff Bull Sale Arena

Due to the size of the entry way to the gate, NSBRA has put some restrictions in place. Only those 5 in the current drag are allowed inside this area during the race. This is become a major safety issue, not only to the riders but also our horses. Please be considerate to those trying to enter the barn from the outside.
